Step-by-Step Guide

Your complete roadmap to studying in Dubai

1

Choose University & Program

Research programs at Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Knowledge Park institutions. Verify that the degree is accredited by UAE's CAA (Commission for Academic Accreditation).

2

Check Accreditation

Ensure the university and program are licensed by CAA UAE. All degrees must be CAA-recognised for employment in government or regulated sectors in the UAE.

3

Documents Required

Passport, 10th and 12th marksheets, IELTS/English proof (if required), passport photos, UAE medical fitness certificate, and completed university application form.

4

Apply & Receive Offer

Apply directly to the university's Dubai campus. Intakes: September and January/February. Competitive programs may require IELTS 6.0–6.5.

5

UAE Student Visa (Residence Visa)

The university sponsors your UAE Student Residence Visa. Pay the visa and Emirates ID fees (~AED 2,000–3,000 total). Undergo a medical fitness test and provide biometrics.

6

Emirates ID & Start

On arrival, complete Emirates ID enrollment. Register with AMER Service Centre if needed. Get a UAE bank account and SIM. Begin orientation with your university.
