Research Programs

Use campusfrance.org (the official French portal for international students) to search programs, universities, and scholarships.

Campus France India Registration

Indian students must register and complete the Campus France process (also called CEF) through the Campus France India office before applying for a visa. This is mandatory.

Language & Documents

English programs: IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+. French programs: DELF/DALF B2–C1. Prepare transcripts, SOP, CV, LORs, and passport.

Apply to Universities

Apply directly to universities or Grandes Écoles. Public university application portal: Parcoursup (for undergrad in France). Master's: Apply directly or via MonMaster.

Receive Admission & Complete CEF

Once admitted, finalise your Campus France dossier. Attend an interview at the Campus France India office. Obtain your Campus France number.

Within 3 months of arrival, validate your VLS-TS visa on the OFII (French Immigration Office) website. This activates your full residence rights.

Graduates from French institutions can apply for an APS (Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour) for 1–2 years to find employment in France.
